My phone, pic taken by my husband a few days ago. I’m feeding the seagulls scraps. Had my first swim of the season that day! Then back to writing my prequel and keeping half an eye on the American election.

Sweet potato Autumn ale. Now that’s something you wouldn’t see in a London pub - if they were open!

What does the underside look like? That is going to help in identification. Also a better idea of their growing medium (soil, wood, dead wood). Also your rough location will help to narrow things down.

Until you know exactly what they are, please do not eat them.

Does this count? Took a break from the NaNo rush to get this doodle idea out of my system (before things start going horribly for the characters involved of course)

“He would rather carry the world on his shoulders than see you burdened with a stone.”

I use my gaming dice to create world maps [I write Fantasy so I’m constantly building worlds that need maps]. Decide which colour/shape is what kind of topography (mountains, hills, lakes, valleys, rivers, continents - whatever), find a flat surface and throw the dice. Draw the map.

P.S. It’s not as easy as it sounds.

My daughter sent me a poem she felt compelled to write the other day. suddenly I needed to sit down and illustrate. This seemed thee best way to return it to her:

“But remember when you find your feet on solid ground…it’s your turn to lead us.”

A poem full of resonance. Your daughter is gifted and wise.

That strong yoga pose needs balance and confidence. Speaks of freedom and joy, too.

Thanks for sharing, @Lesliearcher1 :hugs:

This is fantastic, Leslie.
