How can I insert a picture in a story? Not real picture…a picture described in a story, something like that…any suggestions?
Do you mean like trying to describe a photo or drawing that the characters in the story see or interact with?
If so, I wouldn’t try to create too detailed of a description for the reader. What is going to be more important to the reader and the story is particular details in the picture that stand out to each character who looks at it. They should not be random details trying to convey the picture itself but have some importance to character, plot or theme development.

Yeah…I think you are right. I’m little confuse right now that how can we insert a picture in the story. But, your idea seems right. Is it possible to add a picture detail itself in some genres of short stories? Like in non fiction short stories, travelling etc.
