hmmm … what to say …
I’m an Australian, I live in France at the base of the mountains that
fold under the Pyrenees.
I’m an artist and a writer. I am and have been a research junkie, completing a PhD on Gertrude Stein and a notion I coined “sounded language.” I’m interested in voices as they are restored and re-imagined.
I am writing a detective/mystery/thriller (!?! you can see I need help), that shifts my research into a more mundane and poetic form. I have previous (but sadly unpublished) essays and finished manuscripts on the voice of perceptual light, called Biography of the other light, and The Biography of Other Things as outlined by Marie Antonette … al finished and waiting for ??? I like the weird, outsider testimonies and the unsound, the grotesque and the marginal voice, I use nonsense and the jamming of genres as a writing device, along with sound-dense texts. (poetic but odd). My aim is to work out how to make these texts flow slightly more clearly through ideas and realms of consciousness taking the reader with me/them.
