Beautiful forests to bleak moors - there’s a major switch in landscape! 
To be honest though, I love both, so I can see why you’d want to use them. Both can be very emotive if ‘seen’ with the artist’s eye.

I find I incorporate parts of my city into my work. I also write about other places I’ve lived or visited. Even when it’s a fictional setting, I use elements of these places I know in my writing.
